Our Pricing Model
What Are the Pricing Principles of Seclion’s Expert Services?
Seclion’s expert services are typically priced based on one of the following models: a fixed project price, an hourly rate, or a daily rate (time-based pricing). If the scope, responsibilities, and deliverables of a project can be clearly defined in advance, a fixed project price can be applied—this is not tied to the actual working hours and is known as lump-sum pricing.
When Is Hourly or Daily Pricing Used?
Hourly or daily pricing is suitable for smaller assignments (under 200 hours), where the scope and content of the work cannot be defined precisely in advance.
How Can I Estimate the Cost of Seclion’s Services?
Before making a purchase decision, the customer receives a written offer from Seclion. This offer includes the project phases, deliverables, timeline, and an estimate of the maximum amount of work and total costs.
Can the Final Cost Be Lower Than Estimated?
Yes. If the agreed work is completed with fewer hours than estimated and time-based pricing is used, the final cost will be lower.
Seclion charges only for actual and verifiable work completed—never for unused hours.
Can the Final Cost Exceed the Original Estimate?
No, not without prior written agreement from the client.
If the required amount of work increases during the project (e.g. due to additional or modified tasks requested by the client), Seclion will always seek written approval before exceeding the original scope and cost.
Will the Client Be Charged for Travel Expenses?
If travel is necessary to complete the assignment, the resulting expenses are typically invoiced to the client afterward at actual cost (0% markup).
In projects with fixed pricing, travel expenses can also be included in the total price, in which case they will not be invoiced separately.
When Are Services Invoiced?
For time-based pricing, completed work is invoiced retroactively, no more than twice per month (mid-month and end of the month).
For fixed-price projects, invoicing is based on pre-agreed payment installments.
For example, in a five-month project, billing may be scheduled as five equal monthly installments of 20% of the total price.
